A treatment used to help the immune system fight cancer. A cancer patientfs T cells (a type of white blood cell) are collected and grown in the laboratory to increase the number of T cells that are able to kill the personfs cancer cells. These cancer-specific T cells are given back to the patient to help the immune system fight the cancer.
