Spring

The term 'Spring' as it applies to the area of the weather can be defined as ' 1. The season of the year comprising the transition period from winter to summer occurring when the sun is approaching the summer solstice. In the Northern Hemisphere, spring customarily includes the months of March, April and May. 2. In hydrologic terms, an issue of water from the earth; a natural fountain; a source of a reservoir of water'.

The term 'Spring' as it applies to the area of water can be defined as 'a water body formed when the side of a hill, a valley bottom or other excavation intersects a flowing body of groundwater at or below the local water table, below which the subsurface material is saturated with water'.

The term 'Spring' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' Ground water seeping or flowing out of the earth where the water table intersects the ground surface'.
