Reinsertion

The term 'Reinsertion' as it applies to the area of energy can be defined as ' The process of returning nuclear fuel that has been irradiated and then removed from a reactor back intoa reactor for further irradiation. Reinserted assemblies are assemblies that have been irradiated in a cycle, were not in the core in the priorcycle (cycle N), and which are in the core in the current cycle (cycle N+1)'.
