It is used primarily for military turbojet and turboprop aircraft engines because it has a lower freeze point than other aviation fuels and meets engine requirements at high altitudes and speeds. Note - Beginning with January 2004 data, naphtha-type jet fuel is included in Miscellaneous Products.
