The term 'Impermeable' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' Having a texture that does not permit water to move through quickly. Not easily penetrated. The property of a material or soil that does not allow, or allows only with great difficulty, the movement or passage of water'.

The term 'Impermeable' as it applies to the area of the weather can be defined as ' Material that does not permit fluids to pass through it'.
