Replevin -- A legal action for the recovery of property brought by the owner or party entitled to repossess the property against a party who has wrongfully kept it.
Replevin -- Replevin is a provisional remedy by which property claimed is taken, pending decision as to its ownership, into the custody of the law in order to prevent its being disposed of or secreted by the defendant.
