Coulisse -- The outside ("curb") market for securities in Paris, which is conducted under the portico or peristyle of the bourse. In the coulisse dealings are conducted in securities not dealt in on the bourse, except that there are dealings in rentes in the coulisse as well as on the bourse. A trader or a broker in the coulisse is called a coulissier.
